What Goes Into an Office Build

A real office, inside a steel container.

An office container gives you a secure, weather-tight workspace you can place on a job site, farm, equipment yard, or anywhere you need a desk and air conditioning. We can build the whole container as office space, or split it into an office on one end and storage on the other.

Insulation & climate control

Fully insulated walls and ceiling with mini-split air conditioning to keep the office usable through a Texas summer.

Finished interior

Smart siding walls, vinyl plank flooring, and butcher block counters or desks.

Doors & windows

A steel entry door, plus standard or walk-up windows for natural light and customer service.

Power & lighting

Breaker panel, interior outlets, LED lighting, exterior GFI outlets, and flood lights.

Off-grid ready

A 50-amp generator inlet so the office runs on sites without utility power.

Office + storage combos

A partitioned office on one end with shelving, a roll-up door, and charging stations in the rest.

Recent Build

AUI Partners: a 40-foot insulated office and storage container.

For AUI Partners we built a 10-foot air-conditioned office into one end of an insulated 40-foot container. The office has its own steel door and a walk-up window, vinyl flooring, smart siding walls, and butcher block countertops, with a mini-split keeping it cool. The rest of the container is set up for storage and equipment charging.

Planning Your Office Container

Things to decide before the build.

How big is the office?

A 10-foot office in a 40-foot container leaves plenty of room for storage. Need more desk space? The office can take more of the container, or all of it.

How will it get power?

Plan for a utility hookup, a generator through a 50-amp inlet, or both. Tell us what equipment will run inside.

Local rules

If people will occupy the office long-term or it connects to permanent utilities, confirm requirements with your city or county first.

Office builds can start from a 40-foot container or a 40-foot high cube. We deliver across Central Texas — see our delivery area.

Need an office on site?

Tell us how many people will work in it, what needs power, and where it's going. We'll plan the build and quote it delivered.
